Here are some of the services I can offer to interested art pupils and students.
Private Tutoring
As a teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience in schools, colleges and Universities in; Scotland, UAE and The Sultanate of Oman, I am able to offer school age pupils private one to one tutoring in BGE and Nat 4, Nat 5 and Higher courses. A particular specialism has always been my work with senior pupils preparing for Art School and I offer both Advanced Higher tutorials and Portfolio Preparation

Workshops
I offer art workshops both at my studio in Catterline and at various venues in Aberdeenshire. These range from experimental mixed media painting and collage to; improving your painting, learning composition, colour theory, batik, drawing and printmaking techniques and can be tailored to suit a group's requirements.

Written Art Assignments
Art senior pupils and university students require to have a high level of written communication skill. I am able to support work on preparation for Art and Design Studies elements of both Higher and Advanced Higher exams. I can also provide help with writing 'Statements of Intent' and supporting essays; reviewing Final Year Fine Art and Design Dissertations; reviewing/proof reading Honours Business Modules and Product Design Projects.
